Golf Point-of-Sale
Software
The
purpose of any well-designed point-of-sale golf software system is to give
the club better control over its sales and inventory. We exceed
this requirement and add a number of golf-specific functions
designed to manage most areas of the golf operation, including
the restaurant.
The
POS integrates seamlessly with our golf tee-sheet
management system, which greatly simplifies the
golfer check-in process. In other words, when customers make online teetime reservations, either in the pro shop or from elsewhere, the POS automatically assigns a fee to each person in the party, depending on their member status. The system differentiates between green fee players and members it also knows the difference between full and partial members.
Another key feature that clubs appreciate
is our ticketing function, which outputs any number of tickets,
or vouchers. Tickets can be used to discount golf rounds
or cart rentals. Some clubs use our golf ticket feature to create 10-packs, Golf & Lunch combos, pro shop discounts, and so on. Bar-coded receipts can
even serve as traceable rain checks. With the Tee-On system, you can create Gift Certificates for any dollar amount, which we know will save you money on printing.
For
the restaurant side, we provide a golf food
and beverage system that includes full table service,
staff gratuities, customer loyalty tracking, and more. In
addition, we have recently formed a strategic alliance with
BNA SmartPayments, Inc., to offer integrated credit/debit card processing.
Perhaps most important,
staff people can make pro shop and restaurant sales through
the same system, which increases their efficiency and reduces
errors. At the same time, the system can track the sales made by each employee. We have worked with club owners and managers to provide golf management software that addresses the specific needs of golf courses.
